My dad game me five bucks, this is awesome. So I ran to the candy shop. As soon as I got in I started looking for something to get. I found the new Fuzz Candy’s made by the Allen’s so I grabbed two, paid for them and ran out to the park next-door, unwrapped one and ate it, it tasted like a nice caramel lolly fromTasmania. I went to open the second Fuzz Candy and popped it in my mouth. First came the sweet feeling again, but then the lolly went really sour. "But it said 'sweet' on the wrapper", I said to myself.

"Darling", Mum roared. "We are going to town to go to Safeway!
"I am coming to town with you", I said. We got into the Toyota Land Cruiser and zoomed off like lightning hitting earth! We got to Safeway and mum wanted to stay in the car. So I went in. I went straight to the lolly isle and I did not know which lolly to buy. I was thinking of getting a pack of lollies for my best friend Dom. I thought I would get Pods, but it said 'sweet' on the wrapper. I paid for the lollies and got into the new, dusty car. I heard a blood-curdling scream. I knew from the moment I heard it, it was my brother Brian. I rush across the hallway, it seemed as long as the Empire State Building. I open the door to see him rolling around on the bedroom floor. My father ran in "Oh my gosh!" he gasped. I just stared horrified.
"It said sweet on the wrapper", Brian choked, as dad yelled "Spit it out! SPIT.....IT......OUT!" I look down at the lolly wrapper on the floor it has 'sweet written in red, I guess we should sue the company. Then I read it closely, it said...... "It's here", I shout.
"Yay it's finally here", ooh it says 'sweet' ", Ariana says with glee. "Yay, hooray, yippee!" we sing as we dance around the house. I drag the package inside from the verandah. "Let's open it! NOW!" Orders Ariana. "No more house work for us EVER AGAIN!" I giggle. We rip off the wrapper, cut the tape and pop the bubble wrap! Pop! Pop! "Blah, I couldn't breathe in there!" A little troll screeched. "Fetch me a glass of water!" It nagged. "Don't have such a sour attitude", Ariana replies. "I am the grumpy clean dwarf!" It snaps. "But it said 'sweet' on the wrapper!" Andrew was wanting to go to the lolly shop off Elm Street. He was nagging his mum to give him $5. She was holding strong.
"Please, PLEASE, PLEEEASE!" exclaimed Andrew, but his mum was stubborn. Andrew gave in but he started throwing a tantrum on the couch. Andrew had found $5 under the couch. He immediately ran out the door and ran as fast as he could down the street. Once Andrew paid for the lolly he opened the wrapper and ate it. Andrew was a controversial boy. He was allergic to beed, mosquitoes and gluten, and the weirdest one, sweets. He picked the wrapper up and headed for a bin. He looked at the ingredients. But it said sweet on the wrapper! He was in a lot of trouble! "But it said sweet on the wrapper", Luke complained to Greg. Greg blew the dust off the wrapper.
"It don't say 'sweet' it says 'shrink'!" yelled Greg and at that moment Luke shrunk 2cm shorter. "Uh, Oh!" Luke whispered to himself. "Come on, we have to find a 'grow' lolly", explained Greg. Luke shrunk another 5cm smaller as he agreed, "Ok". So they went to the local wizard Gandalf, "I will cast a spell that will make you stop shrinking with this growing lolly!" said Gandalf. Gandalf carefully put the lolly into Luke's mouth. Then smoke appeared everywhere.....and he was gone, just like that! “Goodbye Mum, see you soon”, I called. Mum was taking my brother to the hairdresser and I was home alone. I decided to go down the street and get a lolly. There was a massive line up!! Finally, I was at the front. “Big line up today”, I answered.
“I’ve had heaps of customers. So what would you like?" Grinned the lolly man. “I would like 2 sweet sour straps please", I replied. I decided to eat them after tea. I got in to bed and started eating them. “Aaawww......But it said sweet on the wrapper”, I whispered. Oh well, I was so tired, I fell straight asleep. I was walking down the street when a whole group of kids ran out the door screaming with excitement. “What was that?” I asked myself. I looked up to read the sign Candy Land. Huh, that wasn’t there before! I walked inside to have a look I opened the red and white stripey door and there I saw all the lollies you could think of. I saw my favourite lolly and had to buy it. The man who served me said hi and went on scanning. I handed him my money along with the lolly and ran outside. I plopped it in my mouth and EEEEEEEWWWWWW!!! It said ‘sweet’ on the wrapper......
"Mum can I go to the lolly shop?" yelled Matilda as she was slowly walking up the stairs and into Mum's room.
Mum said "Yes, but you have to go with Emily". So I groaned and started walking out the door. We got there and Matilda started picking lollies. We paid for them and walked home. Matilda was eating her lollies when she yelled, "These are sour". "Well you should of got the sweet ones", I replied. "But it said sweet on the wrapper!" So we went back to the lolly shop to see if we could get a refund but we couldn't so we put in a complaint. Last Friday it was the 13th and spooky things happened that day, like I gave my little brother a lolly and it turned into a bomb! But it said sweet on the wrapper! The lolly bomb exploded in my little brothers mouth. He had to go to the hospital because his tongue was burnt and so was the roof of his mouth. After he got out of the hospital he had a serious overbite so it was hard for him to eat and drink because it would not stay in his mouth. So we had to get a liquid food pipe in his stomach so he didn't starve and have injections every year.
